So there is a solution out there. You just haven't thought of it yet. You know and I think that's really important to grasp that you think well, I've got six kids. I'm never going to be able to continue with what I'm doing. Of course you're not. However, you change. You change and adapt what you're doing to accommodate this lifestyle change. And there is no challenge, there is nothing. I don't care whether you have 10 kids, I don't care whether you have 10 kids, I don't care whether you only want to work a couple of hours a day, you know, or whatever you want to do. There is a way, there is a strategy that will get you to where you need to be. It may not be overnight, but there are you. You just gotta think what do I need to do now to make this happen? Right, this, this has to change. What can I do to make that change? I have to do this, that and the other. Where can I find these people? Where can I get to make that change? I have to do this, that and the other. Where can I find these people? Where can I get these resources? Do I need to earn more money? Okay, how am I going to do that? So it's simply a case of adapting and you will adapt.

If you're starting to feel like I don't want to be stuck in this office anymore, get out of the office. It doesn't mean say to my kids come on, let's kids, let's go down. I'm in Greece at the moment, so we're right by the ocean. I can see the ocean from my house. It's lovely. So my office isn't really a trial. Being in here, you know, and you see the ocean, the mountains.

But sometimes I do want to stop being in my office. So I say, you know, let's go down. There's wi-fi down at the um, the beach and things like that. So so we just, we just get out, yeah, and we go to a swimming pool and we go to a lake, you know, go and sit at a restaurant. My kids play in the playground. I sit there and do some work, you know, and I've got my eye on them. I'm not just completely gross, but I tend to. What I tend to do and this is a really good tip for people is to to organize your tasks based around what you want to do in that day and what you want to do, you know, in that week or whatever.

Hey, it's Alex from Remote Work Live here. I hope you are well. The Remote Work Live community and podcast is where tech and digital marketing professions from around the world with a shared interest in remote work come to learn how to grow a remote career or business from those who know the world of remote work best. My name is Alex Wilson-Campbell and I'll share with you interviews from SaaS product and service CEOs, leaders and entrepreneurs and talk about the benefits of remote work. And you're just listening to one of my heroes in business, michelle Dale. She is the CEO of Virtual Miss Friday, and Virtual Miss Friday is a consulting business started by Michelle off the back of her experience as a virtual assistant. She set up a business that consults with startups and SMEs to, I guess, get them functioning in the right way to get them as efficient as possible, and she's built this into a seven-figure business whilst nurturing her family and also travelling at the same time. So she's somebody who really inspires me and really, as a parent myself, I look to her as somebody who has, I guess, really adapted I guess her lifestyle, adapted, her career to balance, have balance between work and life, and that's why she really inspires me, because I was going through a time myself when I had my first child or when we had our first child. There was a certain amount of adaptation that we have to do and if you're a parent yourself, you know exactly what I'm talking about and that adaptation may be to your career, to your life in general, to your household, to your work situation all of those things you have to take into account. And what Michelle has done she's built a lifestyle business, a seven-figure lifestyle business, where she's not only made that adaptation but she's also brought people along with her, because she has an academy where she teaches people to do the work that she does as well. So I'd certainly, I'd certainly recommend that you check that out. You can check her out at virtualmissfridaycom.

But not only has Michelle had the skill and the ingenuity to actually put all that into place so that she can also travel the world as well. She also has that vision and, I suppose, the passion as well. She's found what she's really passionate about, because if you don't find what you're passionate about, then you're not going to last the course, and she's certainly been able to do that. So for me, she's somebody that us as remote workers, us as virtual workers or digital nomads. She's somebody who we can really look up to as somebody who has paved the way and shaped the way in how, or at least in what's possible with remote work and being a digital nomad.

So, as I said, I certainly recommend having a look at her website, having a look at the work that she does and listening to the interview that I did with Michelle. Listen to the entire interview with Michelle, because it really it's really. I guess it really shows how much she cares about other people, because she could have easily just set up her business and left it at that, but she's really gone, I suppose, to that next level and tried as much as possible as she can to, as I said, bring other people along with her. So that's it for me.

From now, if you are struggling or if you you're experiencing challenges yourself in building your remote work life, get in touch with me, ask me questions via linkedin or ask me questions via the group, the remote work life accelerator group. There's also a community there of people, other remote workers and other people with a shared interest in remote work, where you can leave your questions and you can hopefully make new friends, because I know from time to time. Working remotely can put you in a situation where you perhaps don't have as much contact with other people as possible. So that group is all about helping you to to get those connections and, as I said, I've left all the details for you there in the show notes and I will see you next time around.
